Kate Bush has teased plans to work on her first new music in over a decade.
The Babooshka singer released her most-recent album, ’50 Words For Snow’, in 2011, since which time she’s enjoyed a chart renaissance after her 1985 hit Running Up That Hill featured on the soundtrack to season four of ‘Stranger Things’.
In a new interview, Bush revealed she’s looking forward to returning to the studio to work on new material, telling Emma Barnett on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “I’m very keen to start working on a new album.
“I’ve got lots of ideas. I’m really looking forward to getting back into that creative space. It’s been a long time.”
Despite her desire to record again, however, the Wuthering Heights star insisted she’s not ready to return to the stage, adding she is “not there yet”.
