Kate Bush is set to release a lyric book featuring hidden messages in select copies.
The paperback version of her 2018 publication ‘How To Be Invisible’ is set to hit shelves in the spring, featuring a new introduction by the musician and illustrations by Jim Kay.
A limited number of signed copies will be available from Waterstones, Rough Trade and independent book and record shops in the UK, while the Hounds of Love star has written a message in invisible ink in a small number of the signed copies.
The hidden notes will be revealed when the signature page is placed under ultraviolet light, according to her official website
‘How To Be Invisible’ is out on paperback on April 6 via Faber at £10.99 and available to pre-order now.
Last year, Bush returned to the top of the UK charts with her 1985 single Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) following its appearance on the soundtrack to series four of ‘Stranger Things’.
Reflecting on the surprise success this year, she said in a note to fans online: “It’s been a crazy, roller-coaster year for me. I still reel from the success of RUTH, being the No 1 track of this summer.
“What an honour! It was really exciting to see it doing so well globally, but especially here in the UK and Australia; and also to see it making it all the way to No 3 in the US.
“It was such a great feeling to see so many of the younger generation enjoying the song. It seems that quite a lot of them thought I was a new artist! I love that!”
