Kate Bush and Pet Shop Boys are among the artists featured on the official government Coronation Celebration Playlist.
Released by The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) three months ahead of King Charles III’s Coronation, the set includes Bush’s classic Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) and the synth pop duo’s 2009 track All Over The World, alongside cuts from Boney M, Coldplay, David Bowie, Spandau Ballet, Spice Girls, Take That and others.
More recent tracks including Ed Sheeran’s Celestial, Harry Styles’ Treat People With Kindness, and Sam Ryder’s Space Man are also featured.
The collection has been put together to “celebrate British and Commonwealth artists ahead of the upcoming Coronation”, a spokesperson said.
