S Club’s Jo O’Meara celebrates 20 years of the group’s classic hit Don’t Stop Movin’ with a brand new Unplugged recording of the single.
The star returned on Friday (April 23) – exactly two years since the track, which topped the UK charts back in April 2001, was released – with her latest solo recording and first since 2005.
“To celebrate 20 years since the release of ‘Don’t Stop Moving’ I’ll be releasing a special version of the single this Friday,” she shared, alongside the single cover.
“The song is so special to me I wanted to mark the anniversary by doing my own personal rendition of the track.”
Jo’s latest release comes as she prepares to release her second solo album – the star’s first since her 2005 debut ‘Relentless’.
The singer has reunited with producer Brian Rawling of Metrophonic Music to work on the project, which had been due for release in 2020.
Amid the pandemic, the album was pushed, with a 2021 release date expected for the new music.
According to Jo, the LP will feature a new recording of her first album’s title track Relentless, with label bosses promising a Christmas album is also on the cards.
