Jessie Ware has reacted to Jane McDonald’s cover of her hit single Remember Where You Are. 

During a recent episode of ‘Jane McDonald’s Yorkshire’, the singer performed a rendition of the track, lifted from Jessie’s 2020 LP ‘What’s Your Pleasure?’.

It proved an instant hit with fans on social media, who were quick to tag Jessie in the post and get her response.

Replying to one post, featuring a clip of the performance, the star penned: “She’s an icon. She’s a legend and she is the moment.

“Thank you ferry [sic] much Jane McDonald – what an honour!!”

And it didn’t take long for Jane to join in the conversation, replying in a comment: “Right back atcha Jessie Ware, thank you for your kind words.  

“What a star,” she added. “Thank you for amazing music. It was a privilege.”

Remember Where You Are was the seventh single to be issued from Jessie’s fourth studio album, after former US President Barack Obama selected it as one of his top tracks of 2020.
