Janet Jackson finally looks set to release new music.
The superstar will return to the road this summer for the latest North American leg of her ‘Together Again‘ tour, which launched in 2023, and in a new interview she revealed she’s also been back in the recording studio.
Speaking during an interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest, she shared: “On the last tour that we did in the States last year – the ‘Together Again’ tour – we did a few different songs, but this time around were even gonna do more songs, different ones that I’ve never done live before.
“There might be a new song here or there as well.”
Pressed further on the subject, Janet – who released her most-recent LP, ‘Unbreakable’, in 2015, elaborated: “I feel bad because I mentioned this prior…
“It was supposed to come out, but we went into the pandemic and on top of that was a couple of things that I needed to straighten out in my backyard.
“So now, since we’re past all that, we’re going about putting out new music for sure.”
