Update: Representatives from Worthy Publishing have issued a statement denying the leaked title of Jamie Lynn’s memoir, sharing their “regret” at the “incorrect” information, which is just a “placeholder”.
They tell People: “We deeply regret that incorrect and incomplete information about her book has appeared in the public space, particularly at this sensitive time for Jamie Lynn and her family
“This was a placeholder title for internal use only.”
According to Worthy, Jamie Lynn’s book is “as-yet-untitled” and “has been in development over the past 12 months and will allow the world to hear her inspiring story in her own words, for the first time.
“We look forward to sharing accurate and complete details about the project at the appropriate time and to celebrating the release of her memoir with Jamie Lynn and her fans next year.”

Jamie Lynn Spears is readying an “unfiltered” new memoir for release next year.
Details of the former ‘Zoey 101’ star’s publication have been listed on various online retailers, promising “never-before-heard stories” from the actress’ life.
“In this intimate memoir, actress and singer Jamie Lynn Spears tells her unfiltered story on her own terms about being a child star, becoming a teen mom, the years she stepped away from the spotlight, the terrifying ATV accident that threatened her daughter’s life, and discovering the most important elements of life: love and family,” reads a description on the Barnes & Noble’s website.
Jamie has yet to speak out on her latest venture, which comes amid her sister Britney Spears’ highly-publicised conservatorship battle.
During a hearing last month, the pop star admitted to being “traumatised” by the 13-year-long legal arrangement and threatened to sue her family for upholding the conservatorship.
However, that hasn’t put Jamie Lynn off turning to her sibling for inspiration, naming her book ‘I Must Confess: Family, Fame, and Figuring It Out’ – a line from Britney’s iconic debut single Baby… One More Time.
Britney’s younger sister recently begged fans to quit the “death threats” levelled at her family and defended herself on her Instagram Stories, writing: “Hi, I respect that everyone has the right to express themselves, but can we please stop with the death threats, especially the death threats to children.”
In a subsequent statement, she added, “If ending the conservatorship and flying to Mars or whatever the hell else she wants to do to be happy, I support that 100 percent because I support my sister; I love my sister. Always have, always will. [sic]”
During the hearing on June 23, Britney insisted: “I’ve lied and told the whole world ‘I’m okay. And I’m happy.’ It’s a lie. “I thought [if] just maybe I said that enough… Because I’ve been in denial. I’ve been in shock. I am traumatised.
“You know, fake it till you make it. But now I’m telling you the truth. Okay? I’m not happy,” insisted the Stronger hitmaker. “I can’t sleep. I’m so angry. It’s insane. And I’m depressed. I cry every day.”
Following Britney’s shocking claims, fans backing the #FreeBritney movement and stars took to social media to lend their support, including her former Disney co-star Christina Aguilera and Me Against the Music collaborator Madonna.
