M People legend Heather Small wants to return to the Glastonbury stage in 2025.
The Movin’ On Up hitmaker last performed at Worthy Farm in 1995 and, ahead of her 60th birthday, she’d love to return to the festival to mark the occasion.
She told The Mirror: “I’m going to be 60 next year, so I’ve got this kind of bucket list.
“I’m going to be supporting, Wet Wet Wet, I’ll be supporting Take That, I’ll be supporting Marti Pellow. But there’s some things that I want to do. Next year it will be like 30 years since I played Glastonbury, so I’d like to play Glastonbury again.
“And I think the whole thing where they’ve got the women coming and doing their thing, I think that I would slot quite easily into that kind of mould. Maybe do a duet.”
The Excited singer is joining Take That for their Greatest Weekend event in Malta later this year, and will hit the road with Wet Wet Wet on their UK tour early next year.
