Steps stars H & Claire have made their duo B-sides and remixes available on download and streaming services.
Following the group’s shock split in December 2001, the pair released their woefully underrated Another You, Another Me album the next year, featuring the hit singles DJ, Half a Heart, and All Out of Love/Beauty and the Beast.
The LP turned 18 on November 18th and, in honour of the milestone, the pair dropped the 5 B-sides from the short-lived era online.
The Don’t Give Up (Don’t Let Go) EP includes the title track which, along with Together, featured on the Half a Heart single, plus DJ B-sides Over You and If I Could Say the Words, and All Out of Love/Beauty and the Beast bonus track Hold Me In Your Arms.
Also available to listen to are remix bundles for the album’s three singles.
H reminisced on the era in an Instagram post featuring a behind the scenes clip from the All Out of Love video shoot. He wrote in the caption: “HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY ‘Another You, Another Me’!
“I’m still SO proud of this album! Here’s some footage from my camcorder of @clairerichardsofficial & I on set of ‘All Out Of Love’! Loved this song! Still do! Such a BANGER! Enjoy!”
The celebrations come Steps release their new album What The Future Holds, featuring the Sia-penned title track and massive second single, Something In Your Eyes.
In our review of the album, Retro Pop called What The Future Holds the group’s “most confident, polished release yet” which “plays to each of the members’ strengths and showcases the versatility of Steps as Britain’s premier pop group”.
