Spice Girls star Geri Horner is heartbroken following the death of her beloved dog Hugo.
The Say You’ll Be There star took to Instagram on Friday to announce the sad news that Hugo had gone to “doggie heaven”, sharing a sweet video of her and the pup.
The footage shows the Hugo giving Geri a kiss on her face as he growls at her, which she says is “affectionate,” and giving her his paw as they play around in Geri’s huge garden.
Alongside the video, she says: “I think we all need each other and Hugo needs love as I do. We all do.
In the caption, the Mi Chico Latino hitmaker calls Hugo her “special friend”, writing: “Goodbye Hugo my special friend… Sadly past [sic] away to Doggie Heaven.”
Geri’s husband, Formula One’s Red Bull team boss Christian, was one of the first to comment on the post. “Hugo we will miss you so much but thank you for being such a good friend,” he wrote.
