Rising R&B trio FLO have surprise-released their new EP, ‘3 Of Us’.
The three-track collection appeared on digital platforms Monday, July 3, following the group’s debut performance at Glastonbury last month and ahead of a string of summer shows.
On featured tracks Control Freak and Change, they share: “We wrote these two songs last year and thought they would be a great addition to our set list for our debut shows!
“We were overjoyed with the reception they received throughout our North American tour and thought it’s only right we give the fans what they deserve!”
Meanwhile, the group – starring Jorja Douglas, Stella Quaresma, and Renée Downer – add of the title song: “Also written last year, this was our take on The Boy Is Mine by icons, Brandy and Monica.
“It was so fun to write with MNEK again as he always understands our vision. We got to live our ‘90s love triangle fantasy!”

FLO were named as one of RETROPOP’s Ones to Watch in our 2023 Introducing… feature and, speaking exclusively in the January 2023 issue, the trio opened up about the artists that influence their sound.
“We love Brandy, Aaliyah, Destiny’s Child, Victoria Monet – music our mums were listening to when we were young,” they shared, before teasing plans for the year ahead.
“Our headline show at Outernet in March we really can’t wait for and summer festival season will be here in no time,” they beamed. “Watch this space RETROPOP… we’ve got lots coming for you!”
The EP follows the band’s previous single, Fly Girl (feat Missy Elliott).
