Father John Misty returns with his new album ‘Mahashmashana’ on November 22.
Clocking in at eight tracks with 50 minutes of new music, the LP was co-produced by Father John Misty and Drew Erickson, alongside executive producer Jonathan Wilson.
It features previous single I Guess Time Makes Fools of Us All – as included on this summer’s ‘Greatish Hits’ album – plus the new song Screamland, which is out now and features a guest appearance from Low guitarist Alan Sparhawk.
In addition to the track, a music video comes directed by Estefania Kröl, who says: “The video is a visual journey through the depths of Screamland, capturing the essence of both the music and the artists. Father John Misty blends seamlessly into the scene, becoming a part of the city, a living echo of Screamland.”
‘Mahashmashana’ is out November 22 and available to pre-order from Rough Trade. Listen to Screamland and watch the music video below.
