Elton’s final US concert performance is set to air on Disney+, with the streamer set to broadcast the Hold Me Closer star’s third consecutive show at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium on November 20, rounding out the North American leg.
In addition to the concert movie, titled ‘Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium’, his other two shows at Dodger Stadium will also be filmed for inclusion in the upcoming documentary, ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road: The Final Elton John Performances And the Years That Made His Legend’.
Directed by R.J. Cutler and David Furnish, the film will also feature archival concert footage, material from Elton’s “hand-written journals”, and along with home footage from his personal collection.
A firm release date has yet to be confirmed.
