Dolly Parton and Kelly Clarkson have released a collaborative version of the country icon’s classic hit 9 to 5.
The pair’s duet was first previewed in March at the premiere of the documentary ‘Still Working 9 to 5’, which explores the lasting legacy of Dolly’s 1980 film of the same name.
Speaking on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ at the time, the Jolene hitmaker told her singing partner: “I love how you took that and just made it your own and I got a chance to sing background for a change!
“But I’m really proud of that rendition of it and I think, hopefully, it’ll do well for us. It’s great in the documentary.”
The film ‘9 to 5’ sees Dolly, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin star as three working women who get even with the company’s “sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot” boss.
‘Still Working 9 to 5’ will debut in select cinemas later this month.
