Debbie Gibson brings her signature sparkle to the holidays on her joyous Christmas album ‘Winterlicious’. 

Marking the pop superstar’s first festive offering, the 14-track LP segues between standards and brand new original tracks, all laced with her irresistible, charismatic vocals. 

Opening with a rendition of Let It Snow, which oozes the holiday warmth we crave during the winter months, the party really starts with I Wish Everyday Is Christmas – an earworm of an original holiday song that’ll be on rotation throughout December. 

Another new track, Jingle Those Bells, is a playful ode to Christmas morning that captures the magic of the season, while a take on Sleigh Ride has us pulling on a festive sweater and reaching for a snowball.

Also featured is the 2021 seasonal release Christmas Star, which has already earned its “holiday staple” status and continues to bring joy 12 months later.

Meanwhile, ‘Winterlicious’ presents a pair of duets, with Joey McIntyre co-writing and lending his voice to Heartbreak Holiday, while Debbie’s father Daddy Joe duets on a stunning new rendition of White Christmas.

They sit neatly alongside the ballads Illuminate and Cheers, both of which showcase Debbie’s superb vocals and offer some welcome calm as the set winds to a close. 

It’s a holiday album that ticks all the boxes and adds another string to Debbie Gibson’s bow, after blowing us away last year with her comeback LP ‘The Body Remembers’. 

Of course, Mariah is the undisputed Queen of Christmas, but if she’s ever looking for a festive helper (or perhaps a duet partner) she needn’t look any further – with ‘Winterlicious’, Debbie Gibson embraces the essence of the holidays and proves she can soundtrack the season in style.
