Chesney Hawkes has released a new version of his classic hit The One and Only.
Originally released in 1991, the track was lifted from the soundtrack to the movie ‘Buddy’s Song’ and took the singer to the top of the charts.
The new mix has been remixed by original writer and producer Nik Kershaw and is available on digital platforms now.
It comes ahead of Chesney’s new 30-year retrospective box set ‘The Complete Picture: The Albums 1991-2012’ – a 5CD/1DVD collection documenting the star’s career from 1991 to 2012.
Included are the studio albums ‘Buddy’s Song’, ‘Get The Picture’, ‘Another Fine Mess’ and ‘Real Life Love’, alongside a bonus disc of rarities, B-sides and remixes.
“It has been a very fun, cathartic experience revisiting all these tracks from the past,” says Chesney. “I am really proud of the finished product. I hope you like it too!”
‘The Complete Picture: The Albums 1991-2012’ is available to pre-order.
