In September, Cher revealed Georgia had been hospitalised with pneumonia and had been suffering from numerous health issues.
Born in 1926, Georgia worked as a model and actress and appeared in such productions as ‘I Love Lucy’.
She was also a singer and recorded an album in 1982, which was originally released with the help of her superstar daughter in 2013. It featured the collaborative single I’m Just Your Yesterday.
That same year, Cher paid tribute to her mother with the Lifetime documentary ‘Dear Mom, Love Cher’. It detailed her childhood in Arkansas, her six marriages, and her singing and acting career as she struggled to support her young family.
