Talk of a brand new Charles and Diana stage show based on the music of Steps has been taking Twitter by storm over the weekend.
After an account called One For Sorrow – The Musical popped up on the social networking site, pop music fans soon began retweeting its content.
A description for the planned show reads: “One for Sorrow is a Brand New Musical that takes the music of Steps and the Story of Lady Diana and turns it into a musical fit for a Princess!”
Little more is known about the planned production, which has been conceived by George Alexander. On his own page, he wrote: “Hey all I’ve been working on this for a while and really want 2021 to be the year !

The page quickly picked up interest, with fans sending in their own ideas for the production.
“Cast Lisa Scott-Lee as Diana,” wrote one user, while another retweeted the promo and mused, “Can’t wait for the ballad version of “Say You’ll Be Mine” between Diana & Dodi.”
