Caroline Polachek has shared Blood and Butter as the latest single from her second solo album, ‘Desire, I Want To Turn Into You’.
Following previous tracks Bunny Is A Rider, Billions, and Sunset, the single was written and produced by Caroline and Danny L Harle, and features bagpipes by Brighde Chaimbeul and guitar from Kirin J Callinan.
Last year, the hitmaker opened up about the follow-up to 2019’s ‘Pang’, revealing its title has a dual meaning.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, she said: “One, it can be read as being about the ‘you’. We all know that feeling of falling in love, of wanting to obsessively learn from and become that person.
“But on the other hand, maybe desire is the thing you want to turn into itself.”
