It’s a record-breaking year for RAYE at the BRITs, with the singer-songwriter landing seven nominations – the most for any artist in a single year in the show’s history.

The Prada hitmaker is up for Album of the Year, Artist of the Year and two separate Song of the Year nods, and reflected on the feat in a press release.

“I am completely floored to be recognised seven times this year,” says the star, who will also perform during the show. “I was a BRIT school student and I remember how deeply I dreamed of one day being recognised at the BRITs. I am currently a mess of overwhelming emotions and confusion as to how this even happened to be honest.”

BRIT Awards 2025: Charli XCX is big winner with four awards

Central Cee and J Hus have four nominations apiece, while Dua Lipa is up for three awards – Artist of the Year, Pop Act and Song of the Year – will perform on the main show. Little Simz, Young Fathers, Calvin Harris, Dave and Olivia Dean also have three nominations each, along with Britpop group Blur.

The band is up for Album of the Year, Group of the Year and Alternative / Rock Act, with bassist Alex James saying: “This last year recording and touring together has been unexpected, surprising and emotional, one of our best.

“Thirty years on from ‘Parklife’, it’s very special to be nominated once again for Album of the Year and Group of the Year. We’ve had some bloody great nights at the BRITs over the years and whatever happens on March 2, we are looking forward to another brilliant one.”

Indie band The Last Dinner Party have been crowned the winners of the BRITs Rising Star prize. Ahead of the show, Chase & Status have been announced as winners of the Best Producer category and RAYE has won Songwriter of the Year.

Also set to perform during this year’s main show is Kylie Minogue – who will receive the Global Icon prize – along with duo Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding, Jungle, Rema, and Becky Hill with Chase & Status.

This year’s ceremony takes place at The O2 Arena in London on Saturday, March 2. The show will be broadcast on ITV 1.
