Beyoncé is bringing her ‘Renaissance World Tour’ to cinemas on December 1.
Following reports that the former Destiny’s Child star was working on a new visual project, she debuted the trailer for ‘Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé’ after wrapping her final show on the global jaunt in Kansas City on Sunday (October 1).
“It is about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, and involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind, and her purpose to create her legacy and master her craft,” reads a synopsis.
In the preview clip, Beyonce says: “When I am performing, I am nothing but free. The goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free and no one is judged.
“I feel liberated. I have transitioned into a new animal.”

Following a run of shows across Europe and the US, Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance World Tour’ has been named the highest-grossing tour by a female artist of all time, overtaking the record previously held by Madonna.
According to new figures, the former Destiny’s Child star has so far made in excess of £346 million from the jaunt, smashing the record of £324 million held by Madonna’s ‘Sticky & Sweet Tour’, which ran from 2008 to 2009.
The shows in Europe and North America were announced in February in support of her seventh studio album, ‘Renaissance’, and launched in Stockholm in May.
Throughout May and June, five dates at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London made £33 million, with fans crashing the Ticketmaster site due to overwhelming demand.
In the Top 5 of all time, Madonna lands a second placement at No. 4 with 2012’s ‘MDNA Tour’, which made £241 million, just behind P!nk’s 2018-2019 ‘Beautiful Trauma World Tour’ at three with £313 million.
But it’s still all to play for, with Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ already in fifth place with £237 million and a run of European dates extended into 2024. Swift’s own ‘Eras Tour’ concert movie will arrive in cinemas worldwide in October.
