Betty Boo has released her brand new track Shining Star.
The ‘90s icon returned earlier this year with her comeback tune Get Me To The Weekend and now she’s back with more from her first album in 30 years.
“Exciting news my Booettes! My next single is called ‘Shining Star’ and it will be released this Thursday,” she said, announcing the track.
“Shining Star is 100% Boo! I love it and hope you do too!”
It’s been three decades since the Where Are You Baby? hitmaker released her second LP ‘GRRR! It’s Betty Boo’ in 1992 and, speaking on BBC Radio 2 with Rylan, she opened up about her forthcoming material.
“Just before lockdown, I started writing an album with an amazing writer and producer called Andy Wright and I haven’t really looked back,” she explained.
“I’ve written two albums with him,” she added, “that are gonna be coming out after a few more singles.”
