It’s been three decades since the 24 Hours hitmaker released her second LP ‘GRRR! It’s Betty Boo’ in 1992 and, speaking on BBC Radio 2 with Rylan, she opened up about her forthcoming material.
“Just before lockdown, I started writing an album with an amazing writer and producer called Andy Wright and I haven’t really looked back,” she explained.
“I’ve written two albums with him,” she added, “that are gonna be coming out after a few more singles.”
The first album is due early Summer and features Get Me To The Weekend, which samples Love Action by The Human League.
