Bananarama have signed a new deal with Downtown Music Publishing.
The duo took to social media two weeks before the release of new memoir Really Saying Something to celebrate the news, along with a stunning black-and-white photo of Sara and Keren.
“We’re thrilled to announce we have now signed to @DMPGroup,” they penned. “Thank you to Roberto Neri & his team. We look forward to working with you. S&K x”
That’s Roberto Neri – not Robert de Niro, as we initially read!
The deal comes two years ahead of Bananarama’s 30th anniversary of their first duo album, Please Yourself, in 1992, and 40 years since their debut, Deep Sea Skiving, in 1983.
