Avril Lavigne has been spotted filming a new music video with Willow.
The Complicated star is gearing up to announce her seventh studio album after recently returning with Flames, her duet with boyfriend Mod Sun.
And in new photos, the pair are seen recorded the visual together in Los Angeles, which is likely for Grow, the duo’s collaboration with Travis Barker. It’s set to appear on Willow’s new album ‘Lately I Feel Everything’, out July 16.
Avril and Willow appeared to be having a blast as they rocked out together during the shoot, weeks after she referred to the What The Hell hitmaker as an “icon”.
“I’m so excited that I’m going to be having a song on the album with Avril Lavigne,” she told V magazine.
“She is so iconic. From 13 to 16, she was my idol. It’s really nice to be able to have a quintessential pop-punk record with the pop-punk queen.”
During filming, Willow wore neon plaid pants and a ripped yellow T-shirt, while Avril matched with tartan pants and a black shirt.
It’s been three years since the singer released her most recent LP ‘Head Above Water,” which saw the star score her fifth UK Top 10 album make a surprise crossover to the US Christian Songs chart with lead single and title track.
And according to Avril, she’s going back to her pop-punk roots on her new collection, which is set to be announced imminently.
Ahead of her latest comeback, the Smile hitmaker changed her official website, which now shows a variety of snaps of the star along with the message “Album Coming Soon”.
