Avril Lavigne has recreated the iconic cover art of her debut album ‘Let Go’.
Originally released in 2002, the LP propelled the pop-punk star into the charts worldwide and spawned the hit singles Complicated, Sk8er Boi and I’m With You.
The cover for the record sees Avril posing in the road down Canal Street, New York, and she revisited the street for a TikTok clip to recreate the snap two decades later.

“Just went to the location where I shot the cover of my debut album ‘Let Go’ here in New York,” she penned.
In the clip, Avril joins an ongoing trend that sees TikTok users recreating old photos, as she walks out into the road before the present day clip transitions into the classic image.
The hitmaker celebrated her latest milestone with the release of a deluxe expanded edition of the LP, featuring B-sides from the era, including Why, I Don’t Give and Get Over It, alongside Falling Down from the ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ soundtrack.
The reissue also includes a new recording of Breakaway, which was written by Avril for her debut but passed on to Kelly Clarkson, who released it as a single in 2004.
