Annie Lonnox will headline this week’s For The Love Of Scotland online fundraiser.
The Eurythmics singer joins the line-up alongside fellow Scots James McAvoy, Peter Capaldi, and KT Tunstall as part of the three-hour event on Wesnesday.
Edith Bowman will host the virtual show in honour of Masks For Scotland, which is hoping to raise £200,000 for personal protective equipment for NHS staff battling the coronavirus.
“For The Love Of Scotland will be three hours of people coming together through music, prose, comedy, conversation and thanks, featuring both plenty of well-known faces and members of the public,” said Edith.
“I can’t begin to explain how grateful I am to all the people who are helping us out and giving up their time… I can’t believe we’ve managed to do this.”
Annie also featured on the One World line-up, alongside classic acts including Celine Dion, Elton John, and Stevie Wonder. Click here to watch the full gig
