Amy Winehouse’s band will play a special London show to celebrate what would have been her 40th birthday.
Taking place at Camden’s KOKO this December, the show will see the musicians that worked with the Love Is A Losing Game singer celebrate the life, music and legacy of the late performer.
Included is Winehouse’s long-term Musical Director and bass player, Dale Davis, who also serves as the music consultant on the upcoming biopic, ‘Back To Black’. The show will also feature vocals courtesy of Bronte Shandé, along with visuals and rare footage of the singer.
Since her passing 12 years ago, the band has continued to play in Winehouse’s honour and last year toured across Europe, leading into multiple dates in 2023, including a run of three dates in Ireland scheduled for late October.
The announcement of the concert coincides with what would have been Winehouse’s 40th birthday on Thursday, September 14, with pre-sale tickets available from 10am BST that day.
Tickets for the December 22 gig go on general sale Friday, September 15.
