Alison Moyet is celebrating 40 years as a solo artist with her brand new album ‘Key’.

Due October 4, the 18-song set features reworked singles, fan favourites and deep cuts as well as two new songs which combine to present a blazing showcase of the depth and breadth of her artistic creativity and songwriting.

“I wanted to take the opportunity to look at the trajectory of the past four decades and explore songs that, in their original form, were never fully realised or have had their relevance to me altered by time,” says the artist.

A collaboration with producer, arranger and musical director Sean McGhee, the songs on the album take on a timeless feel, while two new tracks – Such Small Ale, which is out now, and The Impervious Me – are a testament to her enduring creativity.

Offering a cohesive journey through her repertoire to date, she adds: “I hope this collection will be the key to those unopened doors. Let yourself in.”
