‘90s boyband A1 appear to have new music on the way.
The British-Norwegian group shot to fame in 1999 with their debut album ‘Here We Come’, which produced four UK Top 10 hits.
They went on to land a pair of No. 1 singles – a cover of a-ha’s Take on Me and Same Old Brand New You – before splitting in 2002.
Subsequent reunions followed in 2009 and 2019 and, according to a new social media post, the band look to be readying their first new music in three years.
“#a1newsingle,” they penned alongside a short clip with teasing the release is coming “soon”.
New music was first confirmed by the group last summer, with Mark teasing: “We’re still here…There is new A1 music in the works.”
Despite a stint as a three-piece, A1 are back to their original line-up starring Ben Adams, Mark Read, Christian Ingebrigtsen and Paul Marazzi.
