Katy Perry will front a new special on ITV set to air later this year.
The 90-minute show is set to be a star-studded affair, with celebrity guests joining the I Kissed A Girl singer onstage at the iconic Central Hall Westminster in London, for an evening filled with classic hits and songs from her latest album ‘143’.
“I am SO chuffed to transform Central Hall Westminster for this very cool and cozy evening for my UK fans,” says the singer. “I can’t wait to be back in London, one of my favourite places in the world, for this up close and personal dance party of a LIFETIME.”
‘Katy Perry: Night Of A Lifetime’ will air on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player soon.
It’s not Katy’s only upcoming appearance in the capital; the Teenage Dream star is set to close out Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball at The O2 on December 8.
On her first UK performance in over six years, and first Jingle Bell Ball since 2013, Katy said: “I’m so excited to be coming back to the UK, I love it!”
“[I’ll] hopefully follow that up with more [shows],” she teased, adding: “I’m definitely gonna bring some pizzazz; I always give a little Christmas spirit to it.
“I’m gonna be bringing some new songs off of ‘143’. I’ve been doing a lot of performances that are kind of futuristic, a little sci-fi, and so everything has a little bit of that edge to it right now. I’m just gonna try and bring my light and my joy.”
