Bananarama are back in the studio recording the audiobook for their memoir Really Saying Something.
The girls took to Instagram to share a photo of their return to the recording studio as they begin narrating their first-ever autobiography – which is due for release in October.
“First day of recording our audio book,” they wrote on their Instagram Stories, along with a bunch of emojis and the hashtag “#ReallySayingSomething”.
Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward announced the release of Really Saying Something back in May, promising to reveal the stories behind the Venus hitmakers, who “inspired a generation, obliterating all previous notions of what a girl band was or could be”.
“From a ground-breaking performance at The Brits, to sold-out world tours, party games with George Michael, hanging out with Andy Warhol in New York, to playing Glastonbury last year- Bananarama’s DIY-style and attitude inspired a generation,” reads a bio for the book.
“Really Saying Something by Sara and Keren is honest, revealing & hilarious as it charts the story of Bananarama as well as their life-long friendship.”
