Shania Twain is hard at work on the follow-up to her chart-topping ‘Queen Of Me’ album.
The Canadian country icon returned to No. 1 last year with her sixth album and, speaking with Jamie Laing on his ‘Great Company‘ podcast, she shared details of her new material.
“I wrote a song and I teared to myself about this song. It’s not out yet. It’s called Hardest Fall. Yeah. It really moved me,” said the You’re Still The One hitmaker. “It’s not even finished yet.
“It’s just the chords and the emotion and it made me, made me very. I don’t know. I don’t know exactly how it’s going to turn out, but I can tell you it’s going to. My plan is to, you know, make it one of my strongest.”
The news comes weeks after Shania launched her third Las Vegas residency, which plays at Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino from May to December 2024.
Over the summer, she’ll also play a number of shows across the UK and Ireland, including a headline date at London’s BST Hyde Park with The Corrs and the Glastonbury legends slot.
