There’s a whole vault of Spice Girls material from the group’s heyday that’s yet to be released, according to Mel B.
The girl group icon opened up about the Holler hitmakers’ catalogue of work in an interview with Attitude magazine and said there are plenty of tracks that have yet to see the light of day.
When asked about the potential of releasing W.O.M.A.N – one such song from the sessions for Spice Girls’ third and final album, ‘Forever’ (2000) – alongside the album’s 25th anniversary, Mel shared: “It’s funny, because we all have a little look online, so we do know the fans have picked up this song. It’s kind of funny, because even though we’ve done x amount of albums, we’ve done so many songs. It’s crazy.
“There are songs you don’t even know about that I know we know we’ve got.”
Ahead of the ‘Forever’ anniversary, Mel also teased plans for the group to reunite in the near future, adding: “We are, all five of us, talking about doing something. It’s the truth. But we’re working on something which will be announced soon, I think and hope.”
All five Spice Girls most recently reunited on Saturday (April 20) night to celebrate Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday.
Posh was joined by Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Melanie C as she celebrated her milestone birthday in London, during which the ’90s pop icons thrilled guests with a performance of their classic hit, Stop, from the group’s second album, ‘Spiceworld’.
Marking 30 years to the day since they first auditioned back in March 1994, the group shared a video montage from the process on social media last month, soundtracked by their iconic hit Wannabe.
