The Fizz star Cheryl Baker rallied her family for a stunning acoustic rendition of the Bucks Fizz Eurovision classic, Making Your Mind Up.

The song celebrates its 40th anniversary next year, and is an iconic part of ESC history, thanks to it’s feel-good dance routine and those legendary velcro-waisted skirts, which sealed the deal in Dublin, 1981.

Alongside husband Steve Stroud and daughters Kyla and Natalie, Cheryl performed a stripped-down version of the tune, complete with harmonies from her girls, similar to the guitar-led version The Fizz released on their 2012 album, Fame & Fortune.

Sharing the clip via music agency Tony Denton Promotions, Cheryl says: “I’m in lockdown as I know many of you are.

“We’re gonna sing a little something to brighten up your day, and it’s something you probably know – it’s called Making Your Mind Up.”

Incidentally, it’s Kyla who wrote The Fizz’s 2017 hit single Amen – as well as Storm, from the new album Smoke & Mirrors, and last week Cheryl, Kyla and Natalie also performed a stripped-back version of that single too!
