The Fizz are back with their first new music in four years.
‘A Crazy Shot In The Dark’ is the group’s first material since their 2022 LP ‘Everything Under The Sun’ and the first offering from the new line-up of Cheryl Baker, Matthew Pateman, Jay Aston and Nikk Mager, following the departure of Bucks Fizz founding member Mike Nolan.
“45 years since winning Eurovision and we’re still excited to be making great music,” said the group in a social media post. “We are proud of this new track and extremely grateful for the opportunity.”
Hinting at more music to come, they added: “New line up, new single and maybe there’s an album on the way.”
The track is written and produced by Mike Stock, who also helmed the group’s previous albums ‘The F-Z Of Pop’ (2017), ‘Christmas With The Fizz’ (2019) and ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ (2020).
