Breakout singer-songwriter NERIAH has released her latest single Puppet On A String.
The track serves as the lead release from her third EP ‘No One Cries Forever’, due March 17, and sees the star analyse an unhealthy relationship from a foreign perspective.
“This song is all about flipping the narrative of a toxic, manipulative relationship on its head and envisioning it from the other side, where you are the puppet-master in control,” she explains.
“Writing this helped me reflect on how these situations look on the outside – people aren’t puppets and sometimes you’re just not meant for each other.”
NERIAH launched onto the pop scene in 2020 and last year released her first two EPs: ‘This Is How The World Made Me’ and ‘How Do I Get Clean?’
