Alice D returns this autumn with her brand new EP ‘Into The Light’.
The collection, featuring new single Nervous and lead track Passion, tells a cohesive story that draws from Alice’s unique voice and varied experiences.
Of her latest track, she says: “I started with stories I’d experienced and heard from people close to me about how independent women are seen as difficult by men, then opened up to society as a whole and the standards people are unfairly held to.”
Alice adds: “The Nervous video was just Henry and I in a field so it’s a much simpler set-up than Passion, but I think it conveys this message of freedom really well.
“The red suit is powerful and strong and matches the Nervous artwork too. I wanted to run in the video as I sing about people ‘running away from themselves’ and being fearful of others who are being true to themselves.
“The colour red also symbolises action, confidence, and courage.”
‘Into The Light’ is out September 15.
