Soft Cell have released an expanded remix EP for their Pet Shop Boys collaboration Purple Zone.
The single appears on the duo’s latest album ‘*Happiness Not Included’ – their first in 20 years – which gave the band their highest-charting UK album in almost four decades.
The new set features brand new mixes from Hercules & Love Affair and Manhattan Clique.
The good news continues.

In a review of the album, Retro Pop said ‘*Happiness Not Included’ “boasts 12 fabulously Soft Cell numbers, laced with Marc Almond’s lyrical wit and underpinned by standout instrumentation from Dave Ball.”
‘*Happiness Not Included’ is available now.
Meanwhile, Soft Cell are set to hit the road this summer as they take their ‘Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret’ 40th anniversary tour Stateside.
The shows will feature the band’s iconic debut album played in full, along with a selection of songs from the rest of their catalogue.
The tour starts August 23 in El Cajon, and then hits Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, NYC and Toronto.
It follows the group’s UK 40th anniversary tour, which hit venues across the country throughout November 2021.
