Toyah has been forced to delay a bunch of live shows after testing positive for coronavirus.
The singer has moved a handful of dates to 2022 after being struck with Covid during a soundcheck this week.
“I’ve tested positive for Covid. Last night during soundcheck at The Robin in Wolverhampton,” she explained in a video shared to social media.
Unfortunately #Toyah is unable to perform several upcoming gigs.

Four dates have been rescheduled & tickets remain valid. Apologies for the short notice/inconvenience.
Worcester is now 15 Jan
Bilston is now 16 Jan

“I realised I’d lost my sense of taste and my sense of smell and I took three tests on the spot, and two were positive, one was negative.”
The punk icon later took a PCR test and the result confirmed she was positive for Covid, meaning she’ll now isolate for 10 days.
“I cannot put any of you at risk – I just cannot do that – so everything has been rescheduled.”
The new dates are as follows:
15 January 2022 – Huntingdon Hall, Worcester
16 January 2022 – Robin 2, Bilston
22 January 2022 – The Festival Drayton Centre, Market Drayton
10 February 2022 – Haselmere Hall, Haselmere
Earlier this year, Toyah returned with ‘Posh Pop’, her first album in 13 years, which scored the singer her highest chart placement of her solo career.
