Lil Nas X has secured big-name collaborations with Miley Cyrus and Elton John for his forthcoming debut album.
Due September 17, ‘Montero’ is the rapper’s first full-length project and features the singles Call Me By My Name, Montero and Industry Baby.
Ahead of its release, the star unveiled the album’s tracklist, which also includes collaborations with Megan Thee Stallion, Jack Harlow, and Doja Cat.

The hitmaker announced the tracks on his social media channels with a clip showing a nude CGI model of the rapper plunging from the sky and landing in the position seen on the album artwork.
Back in July, 16 demos from the album were leaked, including Am I Dreaming with Miley and Empathy with Sam Smith; however, the latter doesn’t appear on the final tracklist.
Following the announcement, fans were quick to point out there were no collaborations with Black male rappers on the LP – prompting a surprise offer from Kid Cudi.
“Maybe a lot of them just don’t wanna work with me,” Nas mused, prompting Kid Cudi to respond: “ill work w u and frolic in rose gardens w u singin about my pain. [sic]”
Retweeting the comment, the Old Town Road star seemingly accepted the offer, adding: “U heard it here first everybody. Kid Cudi x Lil Nas for Montero deluxe. [sic]”
While Miley and Elton appear on Nas’ new album, she and the rapper also lent their vocals to Elton’s forthcoming album ‘The Lockdown Sessions’, also featuring duets with Dua Lipa, Stevie Nicks, the late Glen Campbell and more.
‘The Lockdown Sessions’, out October 22, is available to pre-order on CD, vinyl and cassette.
