DJ Jonas Blue is eyeing a collaboration with the Spice Girls.
It’s been 14 years since the group released their latest single Headlines but, amid talk of new music from Emma Bunton, Mel B, Melanie C and Geri Horner, Perfect Strangers star Jonas is keen to get in on the action.
He tells The Sun: “I’ve met Mel B and I love the Spice Girls as well.
“I’d love to work with them. Can you imagine their comeback single? Wow!”
Emma recently admitted she’s keen to hit the studio and record some new tracks with the group, which is down to four members due to the departure of Victoria ahead of their 2019 reunion tour.
“I love writing with the girls, we have such a laugh in the studio,” she said.
Mel B also recently discussed the possibility of new music from the group, admitting: “We’ve been more about the lines of doing music together and hopefully getting the tour up and running because everything got shut down because of lockdown.
“My aim is for us to get back together and do some more songs together – and hopefully getting up on stage and entertaining everybody again.”
Meanwhile, Spice Girls are celebrating 25 years in music with a new four-track ‘Wannabe’ EP, featuring three versions of their classic debut single – including a rare demo – plus previously unheard track Feed Your Love.
Both the 12″ Vinyl and Cassette editions of the ‘Wannabe’ EP are available to pre-order now.
