Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark have shared a new performance of their classic song Sealand online.
The electronic music group originally released the track as part of their third studio album ‘Architecture & Morality’ in 1981.
And after returning to the stage on Saturday, June 19 at the Indigo @ The O2 venue in London, the band shared a recording of the epic tune online.
The ‘You Me & OMD’ gig was staged to raise funds for the group’s touring crew, which has been out of action amid the pandemic.
The synthpop icons have been celebrating 40 years of the band with a series of live dates across Europe in 2019/2020.
In 2022, they’re set to return to the road for the US leg of their ‘Souvenir’ Greatest Hits Tour.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be announcing a headline tour of North America in 2022,” tweeted the Enola Gay stars.
“Due to the pandemic we never managed to bring the ‘Souvenir’ Greatest Hits Tour to America, so here it finally is!”
Tickets for the North American trek are on sale now.
