A1 star Mark Read has revealed the boyband is working on new music.
The singer recently kicked off his solo career with new track Stop The Show, which he says is inspired by the coronavirus lockdown.
Profits from the track will be donated to support charity Acting For Others, which helps struggling theatre workers – particularly those affected by the loss of live shows amid the pandemic.
“We’re still here,” he told Daily Star, adding, “There is new A1 music in the works.”
A1 shot to fame in 1999 with their debut single Be the First to Believe and scored three UK Top 20 albums between 1999 and 2002.
The band released their last LP ‘Rediscovered’ exclusively in Norway in 2012.
