Claire Richards gave in to fans’ demands and performed their second choice from her recent #Claireaoke poll.
The Steps hitmaker has been performing covers online during lockdown and asked fans to choose between Anastacia’s classic I’m Outta Love, or Flashdance – What A Feeling for her previous cover.
Fans close the former option, and she did a brilliant job – see here – but she couldn’t settle and, eventually, donned a black sequinned number to belt out option No. 2.
“Because the results of last week’s #Claireaoke poll were SO CLOSE, I couldn’t resist giving this second song a whirl as it’s one of my all-time fave karaoke anthems,” she wrote.
“This is #WhatAFeeling from #Flashdance originally by Irene Cara,” Claire added. “And no – I won’t be attempting any of the dance routines from the film but hope you all enjoy regardless!”
The One For Sorrow singer’s #Claireaoke series has seen her cover a number of hits, including Bette Midler’s Wind Beneath My Wings, Celine Dion’s I Surrender, Laura Branigan’s Gloria, Zedd’s Clarity, and her Steps audition song, River Deep, Mountain High.
The new video comes after Steps celebrated 23 years together this week with a sting of sweet throwback posts.
