The Nolans are dropping a three-disc best of collection – The Nolans: Gold – in October.
Following the success of the group’s recent travel documentary series, The Nolans Go Cruising, the hitmakers are dropping the new career retrospective, featuring all of their biggest hits and fan favourites.
Alongside chart hits including I’m In The Mood For Dancing, Gotta Pull Myself Together and Attention To Me are cover versions including Thank You For The Music, Mercy and It’s Raining Men – from the ’80s through to the girls’ 2009 tour.
“As Ireland’s undisputed First Family of Music, The Nolans have been entertaining audiences worldwide for nearly 50 years,” reads a description of the set, which is being released under Demon Music’s Crimson Gold moniker.
“In 1980, they became a global phenomenon with their iconic single ‘I’m In The Mood For Dancing’ topping the charts, subsequently selling over 30 million records worldwide, cementing them as one of the most successful girl groups of all time.”
