Years & Years have released Sooner or Later as the latest single from their forthcoming album ‘Night Call’.
The project – Years & Years’ third overall – is due January 21 and the first from the act since it became a solo venture of Olly Alexander.
On the synth-driven song, the Sweet Talker hitmaker sings: ‘I swear I saw you on my street/ Your face, your smile was vanishing.
‘Cause we’re forever playing hide and seek/ But I can’t find what I cannot see/ You’re a heartbreaker/ You’ll be the death of me.’
Of the new record, Olly says: “I was writing from a fantastical space, stuck in the same four walls. I wanted to have as much pleasure as possible in the music.”
‘Night Call’ is available to pre-order on CD, vinyl and cassette (including limited variants).
