Having recently completed the longest-ever journey to Christmas No. 1 (39 years), the classic track from George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley remains at the summit.
It’s one of a total of 37 holiday songs currently occupying the UK Top 40 – the most ever.
Just behind the duo is Sam Ryder’s Amazon Original hit You’re Christmas To Me at No. 2, while Mariah Carey rounds out the Top 3 with All I Want For Christmas is You.
Ed Sheeran and Elton John are at No. 4 with Merry Christmas as Brenda Lee sits at No. 5 with Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree.
