Toni Braxton celebrated friend Jada Pinkett Smith’s 50th birthday with a special musical performance.
The R&B diva took to Instagram to share a clip of herself surprising the ‘Red Table Talk’ host with a mash-up of Happy Birthday To You and her own track You Mean the World to Me.
“Sis, I’m so happy and honored I got to surprise you on @redtabletalk,” she penned. “Welcome to the club!”
Toni returned to the charts in 2020 with her 10th studio album ‘Spell My Name’, featuring the Billboard Adult R&B No. 1 singles Do It and Gotta Move On.
Later this year, her sixth album ‘Libra’ will be reissued on CD and digital platforms, with a vinyl edition set to follow in spring 2022.
The singer also teased plans to reissue her complete catalogue on wax, replying to a fan’s question with the promise, “Vinyl is coming!!!”
