Sophie Ellis-Bextor reunited with DJ Spiller for a performance of their 2000 chart-topper Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love).
The pair triumphed in the closely-fought battle against Victoria Beckham and Dane Bowers’ hit Out of Your Mind, which finished in second place.
It’s a staple in Sophie’s live solo set and, during a performance at the Defected London event with Glitterbox over the weekend, the pair reunited for a rare performance.

Sharing a video of the moment on Twitter, Sophie penned: “good to see you, @djspiller xx.”
In a post on his Facebook page, Spiller added: “Seeing Sophie again after so many years… Doing Groovejet together one more time on an incredible sunny day at Defected London festival. What a day to remember!”
Earlier this year, the original version of Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love) made its streaming debut, after Sophie re-recorded the track for inclusion on her ‘Songs from the Kitchen Disco’ greatest hits release
The single was Sophie’s first solo release away from TheAudience and paved the way for her debut album ‘Read My Lips’, including the tracks Take Me Home (A Girl Like Me), Music Gets the Best of Me and Murder on the Dancefloor.
Spiller recently shared a demo of the tune with alternate lyrics online.
